The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) represents approximately 725,000 members who work in a wide variety of fields, including utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads and government. Bana Electric has been a member of IBEW since 1955.

NECA’s national and 119 local chapters advance the industry through advocacy, education, research, and standards development. Bana Electric is the oldest member of the Long Island Chapter of NECA.

The mission of the international nonprofit NFPA, established in 1896, is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. Bana Electric adheres to all NFPA rules and regulations with on-going training.

TEGG service is for the protection of commercial and industrial facilities from electrical system failures, electrical fires, and resultant business interruptions and property damage through the implementation of unique and comprehensive electrical preventive and predictive maintenance functions. Bana Electric Corp.'s Testing division is a TEGG service provider.
